Computer repair shouldn't feel like a black box. We diagnose, we tell you what's wrong, we tell you what it costs, and only then do we touch the screwdrivers.
Most Ottawa computer-repair shops are built around walk-in retail. We're built around businesses that have a job to do and just want their machine back. The diagnosis is the same; the experience around it is different — every device that comes through the door gets logged, photographed, and tracked, and you get a written quote before any parts get ordered or any work starts.
What we fix
Laptops — cracked screens, dead keyboards, swollen batteries, broken hinges, dead ports, fan and thermal cleaning, RAM and SSD upgrades, OS reinstall and migration. We work on Dell, HP, Lenovo, ASUS, Acer, Microsoft Surface, and Apple MacBook (Air, Pro, M-series).
Desktop PCs and all-in-ones — diagnostic on no-power and no-post failures, hardware upgrades (CPU, RAM, GPU, storage, PSU), virus and malware removal, Windows reinstall with data preservation, performance tuning, and motherboard or power-supply replacement on most consumer and SMB chassis.
Mac — MacBook screen, keyboard, battery, and trackpad work; iMac storage and RAM upgrades; Mac mini diagnostics; macOS reinstall and migration. We do not currently do board-level micro-soldering on M-series logic boards — those go to a specialist partner.
Small-business networks — switch, router, access-point, and on-prem server troubleshooting; Wi-Fi survey and re-deployment; printer and scanner integration. This sits between repair and our managed-IT side; we'll tell you which one fits.
Data recovery — logical recovery from failed drives, accidental deletion, corrupted file systems, and dead Windows installs. Physical clean-room recovery (head crashes, platter damage) goes to a specialist; we'll handle the hand-off and the chain-of-custody if it's a business matter.

On-site for businesses across Ottawa-Gatineau — Kanata, Orleans, Barrhaven, Nepean, Stittsville, Gloucester, Vanier, Westboro, the Glebe, Rockcliffe, and Gatineau. We're at your office, you keep working, the machine never leaves the building.
Mail-in for the regional edges — out past Stittsville, into Casselman, Embrun, or up the Gatineau hills. Send it via Purolator, we acknowledge receipt, diagnose, quote, repair, and send it back tracked.

How fast can you repair a laptop or PC in Ottawa?
Most software issues, virus removals, and common hardware swaps (RAM, SSD, battery, keyboard) are done same-day. Screen replacements and parts that need ordering are typically 24 to 72 hours depending on the model. We diagnose on arrival and quote a turnaround before any work begins.
Do you offer on-site computer repair in Ottawa?
Yes — for businesses, we travel anywhere in Ottawa-Gatineau, including Kanata, Orleans, Barrhaven, Nepean, Stittsville, Gloucester, and Gatineau. For residential work the simpler path is usually drop-off at our Thurston Drive office or a courier, but we can quote on-site for older or non-portable desktops.
What does a repair cost?
Diagnosis is run on every device that comes in, and we send a written quote before any work begins. Parts are billed at cost plus a small handling fee; labour is flat-rate per repair type. There are no surprise charges; if a repair turns out not to be worth doing, we'll tell you and bill diagnosis only.
Do you repair Mac and Windows both?
Both. We work on MacBook (Air, Pro, M-series), iMac, Mac mini, and the full Windows fleet — Dell, HP, Lenovo, ASUS, Acer, Microsoft Surface, and custom-built desktops. Linux machines are welcome too.
